Located in the heart of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, on the edge of North 50, this 7,943-square-kilometer corner of paradise, home to 200 inhabitants and 150 000 white-tailed deer, is unique and unspoiled.
The island is rich in history, both recent and from millions of years past. Its fossil-rich rocks and cliffs are an unparalleled testament to the geological history of our planet. This explains why Anticosti was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023.
Its 530 km of rugged coastline are surrounded by waters treacherous to navigate. Over the centuries, nearly 400 ships have sunk near the island.
Anticosti Island is an off-the-beaten-path destination, perfect for those seeking emerging destinations. Flights to Port-Menier (YPN) are available via several airports and a ferry visits the island twice a week.

The island's waters offer diverse environments where a multitude of species can be observed, and even the remains of shipwrecks. The various ocean currents surrounding the island bring surprisingly warm water temperatures to the south, similar to those found in temperate zones, while the northern portion is home to creatures that thrive in polar waters.
We require an Advanced Open Water Diver certification with proof of 30 logged dives to dive with us. Cold water and drysuit experience are also recommended. Water temperatures typically range from 3° to 8°C (38° to 46°F) on the north side and can reach 16°C (60°F) on the south. Some sites may be subject to currents.
To date, we have identified over fifty dive sites located around Port-Menier and accessible by boat. Among our favorites are: The Rocks, Drifters, Stichéeville and Mystery Shrimp. Depending on sea conditions, some more remote sites offer truly spectacular surprises!
Your well-being and safety are our priority. Our boat is fast and comfortable. LIMITLESS 2 is a 8.90m (29') rigid-hulled inflatable boat equipped with two 115hp outboard motors for redundancy. We welcome small groups of no more than 8 divers.
We have all the equipment you'll need on-site if you prefer not to travel with your own diving gear. Our rental equipment is new and top-of-the-line, including DUI drysuits.

We have aluminum 80’s and steel 100’s and do have nitrox. Our mixes contain 32% oxygen, but we can provide custom mixes upon request.

Not certified to dive with nitrox? Want to take an underwater photography or videography course taught by a professional? It's possible, and much more, during your visit to Anticosti. Our experienced team can offer courses tailored to your experience and interests. You can also add days to your package to dedicate yourself to more specialized training. On our sea excursion, discover the dramatic coastline of Anticosti Island and its wildlife, including seals and occasionally whales. Don't underestimate the beauty of the islands coast! Rendezvous at the wharf of Port-Menier for boarding, equipment distribution, and safety instructions. Aboard our spacious and comfortable inflatable boat, you will travel approximately 15 kilometers to a grey seal colony. Along the way, you may observe Northern Gannets and Little Penguins. Head west to visit an enchanting site, and also the location of one of Anticosti's most famous landmarks: the shipwreck of the Calou.
